Packaging

Shikimono Comfort Mats are folded and vacuum sealed for easy shipping to your door step. It is normal to see creases and may appear thin when opened, allow 3-7 days until it goes back to its original fluffy self.

We want to reduce waste and our overall carbon footprint, thats why we do not print and send any packaging inserts. We will though, send FAQ’s to you digitally via email once your mat has been delivered to you!

Please reuse and recycle the box that came with your mat—it’s perfect for storing and protecting your mat when not in use.

Care Instructions

  • Vacuum safe - Easily clean crumbs and dust
  • On-the-spot cleaning - Use wipes or damp cloth for quick cleanups
  • Hand wash - Use mild soap and water. Air dry flat.
  • Machine washable - Tumble dry on low heat
  • Do not bleach - This preserves fabric color and texture
  • Avoid direct sunlight - To prevent fading.
  • Iron - maximum sole-plate temperature of 160 °C
  • Avoid harsh chemicals - As they can damage the mats surface.
  • Water Resistant - A simple wipe is all it takes to keep your mat looking fresh.

Returns

Please note that all sales are FINAL—we do not offer returns or refunds. However, in the unlikely event that you receive a defective or damaged item, after request approval, we will gladly provide a replacement at no additional cost.

Do you deliver?

For now, we only accommodate PICK-UP's and MEET-UP's, but message us for a quotation if you really wish to have it delivered to your door step.

Can I place heavy furnitures on the mat?

Placing heavy furniture or objects on the mat for extended periods may cause the inner foam to flatten or lose its shape. Though it goes back to its original shape or form, we suggest placing lighter items on top.

Storage Options

  • The best way to store your mat is by rolling it up all the way.
  • For bigger mats, you can opt to fold it in half before folding and storing away.
  • Before storing, gently compress the mat to release excess air from the bag. This helps save space and keeps the mat neatly packed until its next use.
  • When you’re ready to use it again, unroll it and let it rest for a few hours to a day to regain its shape. Folding the mat may leave creases but it will naturally smoothen out over time.
  • Please reuse and recycle the box that came with your mat—it’s perfect for storing and protecting your mat when not in use.
